44CLASH Battle Tournament at WYYC2015 Rule
This Battle Tournament is a one-on-one tournament style event with 8 competitors.
Two competitors will be on the stage for each round, and the order of the competitor who performs will be decided by a drawing.
The round will start with the after the MC’s call and DJ’s music selection.
Within each round, each competitor will have [45sec x 2] to perform.
*MC will shout [SWICH] every 45 seconds, which is a sign for the competitor to switch to the other competitor on stage.
Elements to be judged are the below 5 points.
・Awareness level of audience, How the competitor pumped up the crowd
・Staging, Awareness level of the competitor
・If the performance match to the music selected by DJ,
・The coolness of the tricks
・The difficulty of the trick, Judgement, Originality
Judges (x 3) will judge the performance based on the above 5 elements, and raise the flag for each element at the timing of MC’s call.
The competitor who got more flags raised will win the round.
*There might be a draw match depending on how the performances of the competitors. In this case there will be another [45sec x 2Round] to decide the winner.
Regarding the finals
In the finals, in addition to the 5 judging points, the MC will ask audience to give applause to either of the competitor whom they thought pumped up the audience.
Along with the judging points, this applause from the audience will be also taken into the consideration for deciding the champion of the event.
